Job Description
To provide independent assurance that Fund's risk management, governance, and internal control processes are operating effectively.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing long term audit plans, based on assessment of the internal risks, having regards to appropriate measures of internal organizational risk
Developing and maintaining comprehensive financial monitoring systems and instilling effective internal control framework in all key financial management and accountability functions;
Conducting periodic risk assessment and mitigation interventions to avoid situations from deteriorating
Conducting internal monitoring and auditing and responding to detected flaws by developing preventive and corrective measures and reports findings to relevant authorities
Drafting internal audit budgets
Drafting internal audit reports with suggestive recommendation on areas of improvement
Conducting internal periodic and ad hoc audits and report findings to relevant authorities
Qualification and Experience
Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related field from institutions accredited by NCHE.
Membership to Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
3 years of work experience in a similar management level.
