Today, the National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF) officially launched the 2025 Micro-Irrigation and Farm Implements Loan Product in Shire Highlands Zone at Mnembo Irrigation Scheme, Katere Village, T/A Njema.

With 3,630kg maize seed, 726 bags fertilizer and a solar pump totalling to MK136.7 million in support, 263 farmers (185 women, 78 men) from the Mnembo Rice Producers and Marketing Cooperative who will cultivate 363 acres along Kayere and Mloza Rivers.
This is the 12th stop in a 13-zone national rollout, reaching every farmer, leaving no community behind!
