Hon. Benedicto Chambo, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, is visiting NEEF Farm Input Loan Beneficiaries in Mangochi to appreciate the impact of the loan program. Farmers are sharing inspiring stories of how access to fertilizers has transformed their yields and livelihoods.
Hon. Chambo has praised NEEF loans, calling them a a game changer in the fight against hunger. He is witnessing firsthand the success of the Farm Input Loan in boosting agricultural productivity and food security in the district.

The Council Chairperson for Mangochi Councillor Abdul Yusuf expressed satisfaction with the program, while T/A Namkumba urged the Ministry to enhance the NEEF Micro Irrigation Loan to unlock the potential of Mangochi's many irrigation schemes.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture has assured the community that the Ministry will explore ways to support irrigation initiatives, emphasizing the importance of year-round farming. This visit highlights the transformative power of NEEF loans in empowering farmers and contributing to the national food basket.
